Abstract
Tutorial overview of the latest generation of PON technology standards nearing completion in ITU-T. NGPON2 offers a capacity of 40Gbit/s by exploiting multiple wavelengths at DWDM channel spacing and tunable transceiver technology in the ONUs.Keywords
