An additional case of tinea nigra palmaris is recorded. Tinea nigra palmaris was experimentally produced. This occurred only when a suspension of the filamentous phase of a culture of Cladosporium wernecki was inoculated in a bleeding scarified area. The eruption appeared seven weeks after inoculation. This infection is much more common in the left palm.
