Abstract
The restricted primitive model has been studied by the Monte Carlo method using a variety of summation methods. It is shown that nearest-image summation leads to distortion of the fluid structure because of the cube shape. the Ewald summation does not lead to “expanded, lattice-like configurations” as has been claimed. Keywords
