The dual function of Cu-doped TiO2 coatings on titanium for application in percutaneous implants

Abstract
Compared with Ti, a microporous TiO2 coating doped with 0.67 wt% Cu2+ can improve the behaviors of fibroblasts and inhibit the adhesion and colonization of S. aureus, simultaneously.
