Abstract
The concept of multi-hop distributed multiple-input, multiple-output (MIMO) communication scenarios is introduced and analysed for the 2-hop case in terms of capacity benefits over the direct and single-input, single output (SISO) 2-hop communication scenarios. To this end, an explicit capacity allocation strategy for the distributed MIMO case is deduced. Keywords
