SEOUL-- Pollution from China9s booming industrial northeast has long rained down on its richer neighbors, South Korea and Japan, damaging ecosystems and degrading public health. But scientists in all three countries hope that a 5-year project to measure the extent of the problem will provide critical information to help China clean up its act.
