Black Holes in Thermal Equilibrium

Abstract
It is argued that a black hole can remain in thermal equilibrium with a heat bath even in the presence of particle interactions. This is achieved by proving the identity of the Hartle-Hawking Feynman propagator and a certain thermal Green's function.Keywords
