A Mild and Efficient Sonochemicaltert-Butoxycarbonylation of Amines from Their Salts

Abstract

The introduction of the tert-butoxycarbonyl protecting group onto amines, as free bases or as salts, can be effected under mild conditions with ultrasonic irradiation. This method permits easy work-up and gives the protected compounds in high yield.
