Abstract
A novel miniature multiband and wideband three-dimensional (3-D) slot loop antenna is proposed as a built-in antenna for mobile terminals. The measured $-$6 dB impedance bandwidths of the prototype with dimension of $22 hboxmmtimes 20 hboxmmtimes 1.574 hboxmm$ are 2.6 GHz (1.64¿4.24 GHz) and 1.66 GHz (4.55¿6.21 GHz) at the first and second bands, respectively. The design is verified by both simulation and measurement.
