Abstract
The authors describe necrotizing histiocytic lymphadenitis (Kikuchi's disease) in association with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). To our knowledge this is the first case report where SLE preceded Kikuchi's disease. Whether Kikuchi's disease is an independent event or directly connected with SLE is discussed. Keywords
