Abstract
There would be less overdetection in healthcare, one of the major factors that contributes to overdiagnosis,1 2 if we had less diagnostic technology. On the other hand, much modern healthcare depends on the excellent technology that we have at our disposal. So the link between technology and too much healthcare is not forged by having too much technology, but by misuse of the technology that we have misinterpretation of the outcomes of using the technology. Scientific advances are also potentially vulnerable. Keywords
