Non-linear approximation of reflectance functions

Abstract
We introduce a new class of primitive functions with non-linear parametersfor representing light reflectance functions. The functionsare reciprocal, energy-conserving and expressive. They can captureimportant phenomena such as off-specular reflection, increasing reflectanceand retro-reflection.
