A consideration of the advantages of second molar extractions in orthodontics

Abstract
Second molar extractions offer some advantages in the treatment of certain types of malocclusion, including reduction of the appliance complexity and treatment duration. The indications and the contra indications for second molar extractions are discussed and some treated cases are shown.
