Abstract
Abstract The dielectric properties of wet materials are not only dependent upon the water content, but also strongly depend upon the geometrical shape of the water particles. This influence can be described analytically by a superposition of differently shaped ellipsoids. The knowledge of the distribution function of these ellipsoids allows to determine the -water content more correctly, Furthermore, a combination of measurement data is possible, which is less dependent on structural properties of the wet material. Keywords
