Abstract
Presentation of CaseA girl was admitted to the hospital at the age of 10 years and 8 months because of episodic abdominal pain and fever.She was in excellent health until 45 months earlier, when coryza and headache developed, followed by intermittent fever with rise of the temperature to 38.9°C and midline lower abdominal pain. Her mother noticed cervical lymphadenopathy. During the next two weeks the patient was irritable and anorectic, with loss of an unknown amount of weight.
