Abstract
Seventy cases of supratentorial glioma, treated over three weeks, are presented. A wide variety of irradiated volumes and dose levels has been employed, so study of treatment details in these cases, in the light of their progress, allows conclusions to be drawn about irradiated volumes and dose. There is strong evidence for only using volumes of over 500 c.c. (8 X 8 X 8 cm). The evidence on dose is inconclusive so levels which are thought to be within the tolerance of normal nervous tissue are suggested.
