Abstract
A tear trough over the infraorbital rim; a depressed paranasal area; a ptotic, narrow nasolabial fold; and a ptotic oral commissure were inadequately corrected using my subSMAS facial rhytidectomy technique. A transmalar subperiosteal midface lift to improve these problem areas by elevating the periosteum, as well as the origins of certain mimetic muscles, is presented. Keywords
