Abstract
An implicitly defined closed-loop version of the minimum energy-average power constrained optimal regulator for linear systems is introduced and its stability analyzed. A design procedure is developed for synthesizing a state-vector feedback controller which approximates this implicit control law. Simulation results are presented for second-and fourth-order systems which illustrate the restraining effects on the control signal. Keywords
