Modeling and analysis of interleaved dual boost converter

Abstract
The modeling of interleaved dual boost converter operating in the discontinuous current mode is presented in this paper. In the modeling of the converter system, a state-space averaging technique is used. Various steady-state performance expressions are derived. Simulation studies are carried out in the MATLAB environment. A prototype converter system is built for experimental studies. Simulation and experimental results are compared to validate the modeling process.
