Abstract
Two groups of hamuli arise from the veins along the anterior margin of the hind wings of the Braconinae. For females of several gcnera, the number of hamuli at the apex of costella is correlated with foro wing length, but in three genera, Macrobracon Szepligeti, Mesobracon Szepligeti | Odontoscapus Kriechbaumer, there is only one bristle. HamuIi number is not related to the aspcct ratio of the fore wing. The number of hamuli varies within some species, and in one specics Archibracon servillei Brulle, which exhibits an unusually large degree of slze-variation) hamuli number was related to fore wing length.
