Abstract
Cortisol production rate was determined by isotope dilution analysis in seven unanxious hypomanic patients during illness and after lithium-carbonate-induced remission. There was no significant change in cortisol production, and all values were in the normal range. There was also no change for the group in the excretion of cortisol metabolites. Keywords
