Abstract
Modern replica plane reflection gratings are now easily and cheaply available. These enable high-precision optical spectroscopy to be carried out in the undergraduate teaching laboratory. We illustrate this by describing experimental measurements (i) on the separation of the sodium doublets and (ii) on the ratio of the mass of the proton to the mass of the electron. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
