Abstract
Influenza is well known to have neurological manifestations and complications, including febrile and afebrile seizures, encephalitis, and acute necrotizing encephalopathy (ANE).1-4 Information on the clinical spectrum of illness in children with 2009 pandemic influenza A H1N1 (pH1N1) infection in the United States is still emerging. To better understand the neurological manifestations of pH1N1 in pediatric patients, we examined the clinical presentations, laboratory and neuroimaging findings, and outcomes in hospitalized children with pH1N1 infection who presented with neurological symptoms at The Children's Hospital (TCH), Aurora, Colorado. Keywords
