Abstract
Original data on the occurrence of Elater ferrugineus Linnaeus, 1758 in Lithuania are reported for the first time. The information on its general distribution and ecology is given. Some external features of this species are described and illustrated, and some aspects of its ecology and conservation in Lithuania are discussed.Keywords
