Abstract
The phosporyl group of acetylphosphate is transferred to the membranal protein of the sarcoplasmic vesicles during active calcium transport. Although the phosphoprotein formed cannot be distinguished from that obtained in the presence of ATP, the conditions for ATP and acetylphosphate hydrolysis are different from each other. Keywords
