Synthesis of cationic and neutral methallyl nickel complexes and applications in ethene oligomerisation

Abstract

New neutral and cationic methallyl nickel complexes containing a chelating ligand were synthesized, characterised by NMR, IR spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction studies (cationic complexes) and applied to ethene oligomerisation with and without methylalumoxane as co-catalyst.
