Spin coupled resistance observed in ferromagnet-superconductor-ferromagnet trilayers

Abstract
Permalloy-niobium-permalloy trilayers are fabricated in the spin transistor geometry, and the results of transport measurements above and below the superconducting transition temperature Tc are reported. The data below Tc show evidence for the injection of nonequilibrium, spin-polarized quasiparticles, and their diffusion across the niobium film.Keywords
