Abstract
The precise nature of the pathologic process causing the ophthalmoplegia associated with herpes zoster ophthalmicus (HZO) is uncertain. In this report we describe in detail the pathologic changes in the ocular motor nerves of a patient with HZO and ipsilateral ophthalmoplegia. Keywords
