Abstract
In this paper, we introduce the 3D caricature generations system working on the mobile handset. Mobile handset is quite a good research target because of popular use and has restrictions on using general method used on PC computing environment. We propose simple but quite effective algorithm on face detection and face modeling. These algorithms do not degrade the performance of the system and show good results at the experiment. The proposed system use our own OpenGL-ES implementation which shows good performance compared with commercial implementation result for 3D graphics. Based on the good 3D capability, we can implement efficient morphing algorithm and animation effect. Additionally, we can have the ability to change caricature's accessory, background image and put emotional effect, aging effect on generated caricature. Although the result image is not same with drawing image by artist but gets satisfactory feedback from users who used this system. Keywords
