Abstract
Charged carrier mobilities in cubic (Ia3d) and smectic C mesophases were evaluated by a Time-Of-Flight (TOF) technique for a calamitic mesogen, 1,2-bis(4′-n-nonyloxybenzoyl)hydrazine (BABH-9), to find the local molecular order in cubic (Ia3d) mesophase is similar to that of the smectic C layered phase in terms of electronic charge hopping. Keywords
