Abstract
This paper describes some of the unusual problems and novel solutions in the development of a new circuit breaker for machine protection. It deals with the design, development and test of new interrupter system employing synchronous control and operation of an electro-dynamically driven axial-blast interrupter using a novel mixture of gases.Keywords
