The Evaluation of Teaching and Learning By Psychiatric Consultation and Liaison Training Programs

Abstract

The evaluation components of 50 consultation and liaison programs are analyzed with particular emphasis on the interdependence among (1) goals and objectives, (2) curriculum, and (3) evaluation procedures. Types of evaluation methodology currently in use are described, and suggestions are offered to aid in the development of effective, relevant evaluation components of training programs.
