Speciation des metaux lourds dans les sediments d'un cours d'eau en aval d'un rejet industriel

Abstract
Total mineralization by concentrated nitric and perchloric acids has been done for several samples of superficial sediments collected from a small water current under the influence of an industrial discharge. The concentrations of Cu, Cd, Ni, Zn, Pb and Fe have been calculated in (mg/g dry sediment) after, their polarographic determination in solutions. The distribution of these metals in the fractions of sediments (i.e. exchangeable, bonded to carbonates, bonded to Fe‐Mn oxides, bonded to organic matter and the residual, according to TESSIER classification) has also been investigated, the order of pollution for two of these samples was: Sample N°7 (700m after the discharge); Ni > Cd > Cu > Zn > Pb . Sample N°4 (1900m after the discharge); Cd>Ni>Zn>Cu>Pb.
