Abstract
Accessory pathway ablation has become routine. Although most cases do not require the use of complex mapping systems, some are difficult to ablate using conventional means. We report the first human experience with integration between intracardiac echocardiography (ICE) and electroanatomical imaging, using a novel mapping system (CARTOSOUND™; Biosense Webster), in a 28-year-old man with WPW who failed prior ablation using conventional mapping.
