Preliminary results of argon and carbon dioxide laser treatment of keloid scars

Abstract
Argon and CO2 lasers have been used to treat 13 patients with well-established keloid scars of the trunk or earlobe. Multiple-bore-hole argon technique and total excision with the CO2 laser were attempted. One patient with an earlobe keloid responded to treatment, all other patients had no improvement.
