Tibia Vara

Abstract

The authors call attention to tibia vara or osteochondrosis deformans tibiae as being a not uncommon disease, and discuss the terminology and etiology. After a very short casuistic, they describe an arthrography and a rather important result of this. They propose to perform arthrography to determine whether surgical or conservative treatment should be given, and recommend this procedure for clarifying the anatomical changes and morphology.
