Abstract
In two patients with osteoporosis, systemic mastocytosis ultimately turned out to be the underlying disease. Both patients had a history of anaphylactic reactions caused by wasp stings but did not have any skin or other symptoms. This observation reflects the need for careful history taking and physical examination in patients with osteoporosis to identify possible underlying diseases, such as systemic mastocytosis. Keywords
