[Google Scholar] ]pyrogallolarene hosts was synthesized through the acid-catalyzed condensation of pyrogallol with a series of para-substituted benzaldehydes at different reaction temperatures. The effect of reaction temperature and substitution pattern on the benzaldehyde was investigated.
