Kinetics of gas desorption during the thermal dissociation of iron(III) oxide

Abstract
The kinetics of desorption and the subsequent thermal dissociation of iron(III) oxide are studied by thermogravimetric analysis with programmed heating at a constant rate of 3–10 K/min and chromatographic analysis of a gas phase. The sequence of desorption stages is experimentally established. The data obtained are processed, a formal description is performed, and the kinetic parameters of desorption and dissociation stages are determined.
