Abstract
The performance of hollow-fiber supported liquid membranes (HFSLM) for Co/Ni separation, utilizing a dialkylphosphinic acid as Co('II) selective carrier, has been studied. The primary objective of the study was to obtain practical information concerning the life-time of HFSLMs and how to extend it by fiber re-impregnation techniques. Results demonstrating the feasibility of concentration/separatlon processes are.alao reported. Keywords
