For those interested in knowing where the ACE2 receptors for coronaviruses (SARS1 and 2) are located, this is the article that performed the study. The receptor is broadly distributed in vascular endothelial cells, respiratory epithelial cells from the nose all the way down to alveolar cells. They are also in the gastrointestinal tract and renal tubules.
