Abstract
In a multivariable calculus course, students must master a large number of concepts in order to successfully learn the material. This paper will discuss one way of addressing this difficulty through the use of ConcepTests, that is, multiple choice questions given in the lecture that test understanding as opposed to calculation. In particular, we will look at various types of ConcepTests and the material they can cover.
