Abstract
This article describes a study that examined the effectiveness of Talking Mats, a low-tech communication framework, in allowing people with communication difficulties as a result of stroke to discuss their quality of life. The study included 12 people in different residential situations. The findings have implications for consumer involvement in rehabilitation. Keywords
