Abstract
The Problem and the Solution. There has emerged a need to make learning and working even more seamless than ever before. Most forms of planned on-the-job training address this need, but will current conceptualizations be sufficient to meet future organizational needs? This chapter discusses just-in-time training as a variant of planned on-the-job training, but with a greater emphasis on attaining an even greater proximity between the need and the delivery of the training. Just-in-time training is an emerging concept that derives much of its meaning from using the in regards to the scheduling and production in manufacturing settings.This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
