Lesions were inflicted in the telencephaIon of Rana pipiens to determine the nature of its efferent connections. The Fink-Heimer method was used to stain the resulting degeneration. The medial and lateral forebrain bundles and the stria medullaris thalami are the major efferent fiber bundles of the telencephalon distributing terminals to the dorsal and ventral thalamus, hypothalamus und midbrain tegmentum.
