Abstract
A series of furo[2,3-b][1,8]naphthyridine-3,4(2H,9H)-dione and 4H-furo[2,3-d]pyrido[1,2-a]pyrimidine-3,4(2H)-dione derivatives were synthesized and evaluated for antiallergic activity by rat passive cutaneous anaphylaxis (PCA) screening. Most of these compounds were found to be orally active. Among them, 9-ethyl-7-methylfuro[2,3-b][1,8]naphthyridine-3,4(2H,9H)-dione was the most promising, and was selected for further modifications. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
