Abstract
A case of metastatic neoplasm developing in the gingiva from a primary lesion, probably sited in the gastric mucosa, has been reported. In this case, the first demonstrable metastatic lesion was located in the gingiva. The dentist has a great responsibility in detecting malignancy in the oral cavity because of his opportunities during routine examinations. Keywords
