Equilibrium structure and anharmonic force field of hypofluorous acid (HOF)

Abstract

An equilibrium structure and an empirical anharmonic force field based on an a b i n i t i osurface are obtained using available experimental vibration–rotation data. Four of the six harmonic and four of the ten cubic force constants have been determined experimentally. The remaining values have been fixed at the a b i n i t i o values. A good fit to high resolution experimental data is obtained.
