Abstract
Following the rejection of full thickness skin homografts all of 19 adult human subjects demonstrated "delayed type" hypersensitivity to challenge intradermal injections of donor leukocytes harvested from peripheral venous blood. Only 1 of 51 homografted "controls" exhibited a similar response. The intradermal manifestation of homograft immunity was not specific for donor leukocytes but may also be elicited by the injection of non-donor leukocytes into a sensitized recipient. Keywords
