Coverage of Women's Issues in Eight Social Work Journals, 1970–81

Abstract
The authors review the contents of eight Journals from 1970 to 1981 to evaluate the coverage of women's issues during the “second wave” of feminism. A slight increase in the profession's attention to women's issues was evident in the 1970s, but there is reason to suggest that this trend may not continue in the 1980s, The authors urge continued practice, research, documentation, evaluation, and writing by, for, and about women.
